OREGON NATIONAL GUARD

Our federal mission is to maintain properly trained and equipped units, available for prompt mobilization for war, national emergency, or as otherwise needed. Here in Oregon, the Oregon Army National Guard has been called upon to fight forest fires, perform search and rescue operations, and fight raging floodwaters.

RETURNING VETERANS PROJECT

The Returning Veterans Project is committed to connecting post-9/11 war zone veterans, service members, and their families with free, confidential mental and physical health services. The Returning Veterans Project fulfills its mission by recruiting, training, and supporting a diverse network of volunteer providers who are understanding of the unique challenges related to military service. Available practice types include: behavioral health counseling, family counseling, massage therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic care, and naturopathic care.

VA NORTHWEST MENTAL ILLNESS RESEARCH, EDUCATION AND CLINICAL CENTER

The Northwest MIRECC strives to improve the functioning and quality of life for Veterans by developing, evaluating and promoting the implementation of effective treatments for military PTSD and its complex comorbidities such as mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI), substance abuse disorders, and chronic pain.
