About Star Behavioral Health Providers
Star Behavioral Health Providers (SBHP) is working together with civilian mental health professionals to support the military community. Our mission is to increase access to high quality behavioral health care for military-connected communities. First, we conduct a no-cost tiered training program for providers interested in working with service members, veterans and their families. Secondly, we offer a public, online directory of trained providers that is easily searchable by military-connected individuals seeking mental health care.
Launched in 2011, SBHP is a resource for service members, veterans, and their families to locate behavioral health professionals with specialized training in understanding and treating military service members and their families.
SBHP is nationwide in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and the territories of Puerto Rico, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
