What is the Directory?

Our directory connects service members, veterans, and their families with mental health providers who have completed Star Behavioral Health Providers’ specialized training. By listing your practice, you contribute to a valuable resource for military-connected individuals seeking quality mental health care. Providers who complete Tier One training and meet basic eligibility requirements can add their profiles to the directory at no cost. Providers listed in the directory should be accepting new clients.

  2. Active license in your state of practice
  3. Ability to receive referrals from an external source*
  4. Completion of the SBHP Tier One training, including all required surveys

*Providers who work with Community Mental Health Centers (CMHC) can still join the directory. Please contact us at sbhpadmin@purdue.edu for more details.

  • Inclusion means you will have your name added to a list of providers who have completed specified training for working with service members, veterans and their families.
  • Listing on the Star Providers directory does not imply a contractual agreement or specific endorsement of any kind.
  • The directory does not promise referrals, payment, training, or access to any other tangible resource or benefit.
  • To remain active in the directory, providers need to respond to all client connection requests and referrals in a timely fashion.
